Work In Progress Services
Delta Dental of Iowa processes claims that are considered to be “work in progress” based on “seat date”, or when the services are completed. Please work with your dentist on how your “work in progress” services have been billed with your previous carrier. If they billed based on “prep date” there would be nothing left to bill you. If they billed on “seat date” then you will be billed for the remaining services at the time services are completed with your coverage through Delta Dental of Iowa.
