Individuals & Families Now Have Access to Vision Care With New DeltaVision Plan From Delta Dental of Iowa

Delta Dental of Iowa has announced individuals and families can now purchase DeltaVision, a comprehensive vision care insurance plan. Since 2010, DeltaVision has provided vision plans for small and large businesses in Iowa. Beginning January 1, 2020, Delta Dental individual and family plan members can bundle plans to take advantage of DeltaVision’s broad eye care coverage.

“Regular eye exams help track vision changes and can identify health conditions ranging from eyestrain to diabetes to high blood pressure. While nearly 74 percent of all adults wear contact lenses or glasses, everyone can benefit from regular exams,” said Jeff Russell, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa. “Many employers don’t offer vision insurance and we know it is important for individuals and families to have reliable and affordable vision insurance options.”                                                                             

The DeltaVision plan is backed by a large network of independent and retail providers such as LensCrafters, Target Optical and Pearle Vision. The plan also covers a wide range of eyewear from contacts to glasses to prescription sunglasses from brands such as RayBan and Oakley.
