Low unemployment and the shifting expectations of today’s professionals require that employers be creative and thoughtful in their benefit solutions to attract and retain employees. The next “Green Room,” a conversation series hosted by Delta Dental of Iowa, will feature a discussion focused on innovation in the benefits industry.
Iowa business leaders are invited to register for “The Green Room: Thinking Forward – innovation for a changing workforce” on Tuesday, July 12 at noon CST. Attendees at this free, virtual event will learn about the impact of the hybrid workplace and how amenities like ping pong tables and free happy hours are not as attractive to today’s employees.
This session of the Delta Dental Green Room offers a conversation with Jeff Russell, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa and his guest Jason Gross, vice president - head of platform with ManchesterStory. These two leaders will offer ideas about:
- How digital acceleration has shifted how and where employees work
- Going beyond medical, dental, vision and life insurance to compete for talent
- The difference between benefits and perks - and how employers are positioning them
- New benefits solutions, from caregiving to financial wellness and more

Jason Gross brings 20+ years of insurance, financial and technology transformation experience to The Green Room discussion. He’s a proven leader in the insurtech startup industry and is currently co-chair of the Global Insurance Symposium.
