According to Iowa Workforce Development, Iowa’s unemployment rate is at 2.9% and employers across the Midwest are facing worker shortages. Join Delta Dental of Iowa for their next Green Room on “Help Wanted: Trends and Strategies for Iowa’s Workforce” on Wednesday, November 8 at noon (CST).
Attendees at this free, virtual event will hear from Dr. Ron Cox, owner of Midwest Workforce Strategies and April Schmaltz, Delta Dental of Iowa’s interim co-CEO as they discuss Iowa’s population and growth trends and how they compare to other states. They’ll also discuss strategies for finding a variety of workers and how to win the fierce competition for employees.
