Delta Dental of Iowa has recently promoted four individuals to new roles that will strengthen collaboration and the depth of experience of its executive leadership team. The promotions include:

Dr. Jeffrey Chaffin
Chief Dental Officer
Dr. Chaffin has served as the dental industry and clinical expert for Delta Dental after joining the company in 2014. The promotion reflects his role and expertise both in the organization and the industry.

Gretchen Hageman
Vice President of Government Programs
Gretchen has led government programs for Delta Dental which includes Medicaid and Hawki dental programs since 2014. In her new role, she will continue to lead with a focus on access and preventive care which improves the health and smiles of Iowans.

Todd Herren
Senior Vice President of Technology and Operations
Todd will oversee both technology and operations as Delta Dental continues to focus on providing all customers with an enhanced digital experience while providing exceptional customer service. He joined Delta Dental in 2015.

April Schmaltz
Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales
April joined the company in 2014. In her new role, she will oversee both marketing and sales with a focus on driving dental and vision growth and retention in small business, individual and large group sales.
