Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation Now Accepting 2026 Funding Requests to Advance Oral and Overall Health in Iowa
Posted on January 12, 2026 in Foundation
The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation has opened its 2026 application for funding requests that advance its mission to strengthen and transform the health and smiles of all Iowans. Programs and initiatives should be focused on advancing oral and overall health in Iowa.
As a significant funder of these programs in our state, Delta Dental and its Foundation invests more than $3 million annually in Iowa nonprofits and community-based initiatives. Grant support ranges from toothbrush donations for oral health education efforts, to funding for outdoor water bottle filling stations in public outdoor spaces, to large-scale grants exceeding $100,000 for high-impact projects.
The Foundation has identified funding priorities for 2026-2028 that center around oral health, vision care, mental health, and support for the dental and vision workforce through mental health and workforce initiatives. The funding priorities are targeted to align with the Foundation’s focus areas of education and advocacy, access and prevention and policy and research.
