Infinity Health Receives Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation Grant to Expand Dental Care

Infinity Health will double their dental services by building more capacity in Osceola, Leon and a new location in Mount Ayr, Iowa with a $49,999 grant from the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation. The grant is part of Delta Dental’s System and Capacity Building grant program which is focused on expanding oral health care access and prevention services.
Infinity Health is committed to meeting the whole health needs of the communities they serve providing medical, behavioral, dental, and pharmacy care. Delta Dental began working with Infinity Health in 2020 by awarding a grant to provide dental care in Osceola (Clarke County). Since then, more than 1,900 patients have received dental exams. This new grant will expand dental care services, adding another full-time dentist to the existing Infinity team of 150 employees in 11 locations that cover 11 counties.
“Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation is proud to contribute to the expansion of Infinity Health’s dental practice which will improve access to dental care in southern Iowa,” said Suzanne Heckenlaible, executive director of the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation. “By decreasing wait times and expanding access to care, residents will have better outcomes for their oral and overall health.”
The $49,999 will be utilized to purchase equipment for an additional dental office and operatory in Osceola as well as transferring existing equipment to a new office in Mount Ayr, which is adding two new operatories. All residents, including Iowans who are eligible for the Dental Wellness Program, the state’s Medicaid dental program, will have improved opportunities and access to dental care.
