Eating for oral health: Grilled peach salad recipe
Posted on July 3, 2025 in Healthy You

Looking for a simple and healthy way to celebrate peach season? This grilled peach salad is a fresh, summer-inspired option that’s good for your smile, too. Juicy peaches, colorful berries, crisp greens and creamy feta come together in a light yet satisfying dish that’s perfect as a side for a BBQ or a simple meal on its own.
Ingredients:
- 6 fresh peaches, ripe but still firm
- Olive oil
- ½ cup fresh blueberries
- ½ cup fresh blackberries
- 5 ounces mixed greens of your choice
- ½ cup feta cheese crumbles
For the dressing:
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1-2 tablespoons honey, or to taste
- ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Make the dressing by combining all the dressing ingredients in a mason jar. Close the jar tightly and shake until evenly combined; set aside.
- Prep and grill the peaches by preheating the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates. If you don’t have a grill, use a grill pan on the stovetop. You can also skip the grilling altogether and enjoy the salad with fresh peaches.
- Cut the peaches into thick wedges and brush with olive oil on all sides. (If you don’t grill the peaches, skip the olive oil step.)
- Grill peaches for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or enough time for grill marks to appear on the peaches. Then, flip the peaches with a spatula to grill the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer the peaches to a plate and let cool.
- Assemble the salad by arranging a bed of mixed greens on a large platter or serving bowl. Top with berries, peaches and crumbled feta. Drizzle with prepared dressing immediately before serving.
