For our Network Dentists (updated 6.10)

As dental offices begin to reopen, we understand that you and your staff face new challenges to safely provide patients the same great care you always have. To help you get your practice ready to serve patients again, we are introducing the Reopening Support Payment. Our hope is that the Reopening Support Payment can be used to help you make facilities and safety upgrades so you can focus on what you do best: provide your patients access to needed dental care and services.

If you have experienced any claim denials for timely filing during this outbreak period beginning March 1, 2020, please submit an inquiry via the Dentist Connection for our review.

For our Nonprofit Community Partners (updated 4.22)

Our state’s nonprofit organizations will be among those adversely impacted by COVID-19 and related closures, as these organizations simultaneously serve on the frontlines. The health and vitality of our nonprofit partners is crucial to our success. The Foundation recognizes the economic consequences of COVID-19 on the stability of the nonprofit sector and has committed $500,000 for the COVID-19 Nonprofit Emergency Operating Relief Fund. All funds have been distributed at this time.

For our Delta Dental Team

We have been working daily to protect the health and well-being of our employees and their families. With the exception of a few specific team members, all employees will continue to work from home as necessary. Employees working on site are practicing proper social distancing and we have increased cleaning, added sanitation supplies, and are focused on the preventive measures necessary to reduce the potential spread of disease.

We will continue to actively monitor information from many sources including our Governor Kim Reynolds, the Iowa Department of Public Health, the ADA, the White House, DHS, CDC and other public health agencies each day to make informed decisions that support our community.
